LOANI to Host First Women’s Friendly Match Against North Wales Dragons in Wales

The Leaders of All Nations International (LOANI) is thrilled to announce its first friendly match against the North Wales Dragons, scheduled for August 3rd in Wales.

This announcement was contained in a statement signed by LOANI CEO, Prof. Caroline Makaka.

This ladies-only event is free to join, marking a significant milestone in LOANI’s mission to inspire and uplift women through active participation in sports. The friendly match not only promotes women’s football but also celebrates the spirit of empowerment and community.

Participants will have the opportunity to network and enjoy a day filled with fun and camaraderie.

“We are excited to host this event and bring women together through the beautiful game of football,” said a LOANI spokesperson. “This match is a fantastic opportunity to encourage more women to get involved in sports, fostering a supportive and empowering environment.”

In 2021, the North Wales Dragons welcomed a dynamic women’s team, embracing players from all walks of life, reinforcing the message that the pitch is for everyone. Spearheaded by visionary founder Chris Roberts and Wales Chairperson Ghazala Jabeen, the Dragons emphasize that this is more than just football; it’s about building bridges within communities and fostering an environment where everyone has the chance to shine.

Under the inspiring banner ‘Goals for the Nations,’ LOANI invites you to a landmark event: the North Wales Dragons vs LOANI Women’s Football Team training session. Mark your calendars for July 6, as Deptford Park, London, becomes the arena where dreams kick off. Starting at 11 am UK time, the session will be headed by UK Chairperson and Global Advisor Dr. Jaya Sajnani.

Using ‘Jumpers for goalposts,’ the training session aims to bring potential LOANI players together, even if they have never kicked a ball before, to enjoy the basic elements of football before two significant events in August and October 2024. These upcoming matches are not just games; they are a testament to our collective journey towards growth, understanding, and breaking down barriers. It’s about celebrating every player’s unique story and recognizing that together, we can achieve extraordinary things.
