Lagos State Governor, Mr Babajide Sanwo-Olu has approved the appointment of the Convener of Lagos of our Dreams (Project LOUD), Prince Kenny Bolaji Bakare as Senior Special Assistant on Grassroots Empowerment.
Bakare’s appointment, according to a letter signed by the Head of Service, Mr Bode Agoro, takes effect from 30th October, 2023.
Bakare is a high-achieving professional with over 17 years of experience in a variety of industries, including events management, public relations, cultural beauty pageantry, manufacturing, and sales.
He has a shining track record of proven ability in leading and managing teams, developing and implementing strategic plans, and achieving results.
He is also a thoroughbred expert in communication, relationship building, and problem-solving strategies.
Bakare previously served as Public Relations Officer of Almi Kinetics Limited; and Sales Executive at Auto Trader Magazine. He has core skills in Communication, Public relations, Event management, Team leadership, Project management, Problem-solving, and Strategic planning.
Through Project LOUD, Bakare has done a lot of work in empowerment programs, especially for the youths, women and the elderly. Presently, Project LOUD is running a special ICT/Skill Acquisition Centre in Surulere that has trained about 1,000 youths in various skills including Digital Marketing, Advanced P.O.S Training, Mixology, Hospitality, Beauty & Therapy, and Arts & Craft, among others.
Reacting to his appointment, Bakare promised to deliver on the expectations of the office, saying: “We will hit the ground running and deliver in line with the greater Lagos rising agenda of Mr Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu.
“We will touch all nooks and crannies of Lagos with empowerment initiatives as encapsulated in the vision of Mr Governor for inclusive governance,” Bakare said.
