Rhema Church laments the bad state of Lagos- Abeokuta expressway, as Convention Begins Nov. 5

In preparation for the highly anticipated Rhema Christian Church and Tower convention, concerns have been raised about the state of the roads in Ogun State. The convention, with the theme “Looking Unto Jesus”, is scheduled to take place from November 5th to November 12th, 2023.

Dr. Taiwo Akinola, the presiding Bishop of Rhema, stated this during a press conference held at the church Headquarters in Sango Ota, Ogun State.

He revealed that the convention is expected to attract a large turnout of participants from all over the world, including Champions, friends, and family members.

The chosen theme, “Looking Unto Jesus”, derives its inspiration from the scripture Isaiah 45:22 – “Look unto me, and be ye saved, all the ends of the earth: for I am God, and there is none else”. It aims to encourage individuals to seek salvation and guidance by focusing on Jesus Christ.

The state of the roads in Ogun State has become a cause for concern. The organizers have called upon the local authorities to address these issues urgently, ensuring smooth and safe transportation for all attendees.

The bishop maintained that the conventions are in full swing. The Rhema Church community is enthusiastic about the upcoming event that promises to be a life-changing experience. With the convention just around the corner, attendees eagerly await the spiritual teachings and fellowship that lie ahead.

As the convention approaches, the Rhema Church and its members hope for a successful event that will inspire and uplift all who attend.

According to Bishop Akinola, As usual, on Friday night, 10th November, from 8pm, we would hold our Annual Hosanna Night — an explosive night of High Praise, Power, Worship and Wonders. No one wishes to miss that! We have the celebrated gospel artiste ADEYINKA ALASEYORI on our list as well as our home grown anointed gospel music talents.

“The Convention Grand Finale, with annual Family Thanksgiving, Communion, Ordination and Commissioning Service will hold at 9am on Sunday, 12th November 2023, all at the same venue”, he said.
