A worker lost his hand in a Lagos factory fire, and the Nigerian Labour Congress did not go on strike and the firm was not punished or brought to justice. Another factory worker in Ogun lost his hand to a machine three months ago and the Ajaero congress was nowhere to be seen. MohBad died, and the NLC did NOTHING till this very today. Naira notes were scarce, workers experienced hardship, and Ajaero’s Congress did not go on strike. Chinedu and Omama were burnt to death in Onitsha in front of a cheering crowd, and the NLC was silent. But when thugs beat Ajaero after he went to interfere in a gubernatorial election, the Nigerian Labour Congress goes on strike.
Does the NLC exist to serve Nigeria and Nigerians or to worship Joe Ajaero?
